Uniforms & Equipment
Junior players require:

-
White playing shirt (with number) will be required to be purchased directly from the Club. These will be available for collection prior to season start.
-
White cricket pants (available from most good sport stores)
-
Hat (no hat no play... KCC caps are available from the Club and can be purchased at uniform collection day).
-
Protective Box (available from most good sport stores)
-
Cricket shoes can be worn but are not a must have, sneakers are fine.
Other merchandise items are available for purchase but are not compulsory.

The Club does have equipment available for shared team use, so you don't need to purchase all the gear straight away if your child is just starting out. However if you are considering purchasing equipment, the first things we would suggest are:

1. Helmet (depending on current Covid restrictions, sharing of helmets can be restricted). Be sure to check the safety guidelines for purchasing a helmet below.

2. Batting glove inners. Subject to Covid sharing allowances, inners will allow Club gloves to be used with the child's own inners used for protection.

3. A bat. It always makes it easier to practice at home if you have your own bat! Check out our blog on how to choose a bat!
If you need uniforms or merchandise, please see a committee member at the canteen or bar. Alternatively you can email our Junior Uniform Coordinator, Natalie here.
