Master Blasters

Master Blasters is a super fun, social, safe, cricket program for boys and girls aged 7 to 10. The program is much shorter than traditional cricket, similar to small games of “Backyard” cricket, plastic bats, balls and stumps. All the equipment is supplied the club will provide a KCC club shirt, included in the Master Blasters fees, which will be available at the first Master Blasters session.

5pm to 6:30 pm Friday nights under lights.

Junior Blasters

For kids new to cricket with participants building their skills through fun, game and skill based activities such as hitting balls from tees, catching and throwing games. The games are designed for small groups to ensure every child gets a go, allowing them to test and learn new skills. Parental involvement is highly encouraged, and adds significant influence to the Junior Blaster programs success. All the equipment is supplied and participants receive a Junior Blasters pack mailed directly from Cricket Australia.

Star Blasters

Kalamunda Cricket Club is an Autism in Cricket Endorsed Club and a selected host of the Star Blasters program. Star Blast is an inclusive program that caters for children of all abilities. Activities are modified to suit participants skills and additional support is provided.

All the equipment is supplied and participants receive a Junior Blasters pack mailed directly from Cricket Australia.

Junior Cricket

Junior Cricket includes home and away style matches within the Midland Guildford Junior Cricket Association region. Games operate under modified rules for under 10 to under 17 age groups. More details on Stage 1 (u10, u11), Stage 2 (u12, u13) and Stage 3 (u14 to u17) matches can be found further down the page.

Home games are played at Kostera Oval and fixtures are Sunday morning for Under 10, 11, 15, 17, with the occasional Friday night fixture for Stage 1. Saturday morning games for under 12 to under 14.

Players should have a knowledge of basic skills at under 10 level.
