What's been happening?

The winter months may be the off season but a lot still happens behind the scenes at KCC. For our committee, cricket season doesn't end... here's a look at what's been happening behind the scenes this winter...

Back in June, the KCC AGM saw several members leave the committee and a few new people join. Thank you to Tim Overton, Michael Travcich, Henry Beus and Dale Drazevich for your time committed to the committee. We also welcome Matt Shaw and Michael Valentine to the committee and Novak Drazevich to the role of registrar.

The Club changeroom and storeroom renovations are now complete. The large new spaces for players to change and new storage facilities to store all our gear look great!

The boys have also been busy preparing the turf nets and wicket areas. We are very lucky to have a turf wicket to play on, allowing our senior players to aim for turf selection, and our junior players to experience a new challenge.

Registrations for season 22-23 are now open, within all Junior and Blasters players required to register online. With increasing junior numbers, several junior parents have put their hands up to help with various tasks around the club. We thank these members... every contribution, whether large or small, helps the club operate and allows our kids to take the field.

Thank you to these Junior parents who have so far put their hands up to assist with various tasks - Dave Saunders, Adrian Munro, Hugh Trenorden, Simon Griffiths, Kane Fasolo, Lisa Logan, Gunjan Nagar, Heidi Stone, Leanne James, Krishelle Millington, Mel Stoffels and the Green Machine Team!

Parents are already helping out with registration preparation but we can still use help with events, fundraising and canteen. Can you help with any of these?

Whether you are a senior player or a junior parent, there are always jobs to be done, so no matter your skillset, reach out today and see how you can help!
